The table zone encourages creativity and learning, featuring versatile blue armchairs that are easy to move and perfect for family activities. Just across the room, the reading nook invites quiet moments with a cushioned storage bench, woven baskets, and a gallery wall showcasing the children’s artwork—making it as personal as it is practical. Anchoring the room, the family lounge zone centers around a plush sectional sofa, ideal for movie nights and relaxed gatherings. With thoughtful storage, layered textures, and a mix of cozy and functional furnishings, this design harmonizes play, productivity, and relaxation—creating a space every family member can truly enjoy.

In the living room, a sectional anchors the space alongside two curved leather chairs, offering both comfort and flow for entertaining. Layered textures and an earthy palette are elevated with accents of cognac, deep blue, and matte black, while curated wall art and greenery bring personality and life to the design. The bedroom continues the cohesive palette with rich wood tones, tailored textiles, and bold accent colors. A striking leather-tufted headboard, sculptural lighting, and graphic artwork create a refined yet inviting retreat. Thoughtful furniture placement ensures functionality while maximizing openness, making the most of the space’s unique layout. Together, we transformed this office–guest room combo into a vibrant, multifunctional haven that perfectly balances practicality and personality. A warm pull-out sofa provides comfort for overnight guests, while a thoughtfully placed desk creates a dedicated workspace for productivity. The muted turquoise walls and lively wallpaper accent bring depth and energy, complemented by rich navy drapery and warm wood furnishings. Playful details, like the striped pouf and patterned rug, add texture and interest. Perhaps the most charming touch is the mustard yellow cat nook, a cozy hideaway that pulls its color inspiration from the wallpaper—infusing both functionality and whimsy into the space. This client booked me to design three key spaces in her home—the living room, breakfast nook, and dining room—each tailored to her lifestyle while maintaining a cohesive design story throughout. The living room is warm and inviting, centered around a deep blue sectional layered with earthy neutrals and rust accents. Soft textures, a patterned rug, and natural light create the perfect setting for relaxation and conversation. The breakfast nook was designed for casual meals and family moments, featuring a modern pedestal table paired with a built-in bench and cane-back chairs. Botanical artwork and greenery tie in natural elements, making this corner feel fresh and cozy. The dining room offers a more refined ambiance, balancing function with elegance. A wood dining table anchors the space, surrounded by upholstered and cane seating, while built-ins and stone accents add character and storage. A brass chandelier and layered textures bring a polished finish to the room, making it perfect for gatherings. This client envisioned a space that could transition seamlessly from a productive home office to a relaxed hangout spot for evenings with his kids. The design highlights both functionality and comfort while honoring his request to keep his adjustable desk and loveseat as central pieces. The workspace is positioned by the window, allowing natural light and a view outdoors to inspire focus throughout the workday. Open shelving and a streamlined credenza provide ample storage for books, files, and personal collections, while framed art and greenery add character and warmth. The lounge area creates a casual, inviting retreat with requested leather bean bag chairs, a large patterned rug, and a clean-lined coffee table—perfect for unwinding and connecting with family. A wall-mounted TV, layered with statement mirrors, completes the multifunctional design by adding entertainment value without overwhelming the room.

This client loves an earthy color palette accented with fresh pops of green and blue, and this living room was designed to reflect exactly that. A spacious white sectional serves as the perfect canvas, layered with a mix of patterned and solid pillows—one of her must-haves for comfort and personality. Green swivel chairs add a bold yet natural pop of color, while the richly patterned rug grounds the space with organic tones and textures. Framed landscape artwork, warm wood accents, and leafy greenery further enhance the earthy aesthetic. The fireplace wall, flanked by custom bookshelves, creates a cozy focal point for the room, blending function and style. Since the wall and trim colors were fixed, we leaned into the existing palette, pairing the muted blue-gray tones with natural wood finishes, clean lines, and strategic styling to create depth and sophistication. A custom wood desk anchors the room, offering a strong focal point while setting a professional tone. Behind it, a wall of open shelving not only provides ample storage but also serves as a curated Zoom backdrop, styled with books, framed artwork, and sculptural accents to reflect both personality and polish. Extra guest seating was a must, so two modern black armchairs were added opposite the desk, ensuring comfort for visitors without overwhelming the space. Subtle patterns in the rug and drapery bring texture, while greenery and minimal décor keep the environment inviting yet uncluttered. The result is a functional yet stylish office that supports productivity, welcomes guests, and leaves a lasting impression—perfect for a fast-growing medical startup.
